One of the most thorough ways to eliminate accumulated toxins from the body.

Why Detoxify?

Prevention is the key to optimal health and detoxing will prevent major breakdowns. To have energy, to be feel good, and to have a healthy bowel. Detoxification is a form of cleaning the blood.

One way is by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination.

There are other elimination pathways, like the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymph and skin. However, when this system is compromised, impurities cannot properly filter and every cell in the body is adversely affected.

Cleansing and detoxing is two very different things!

Cleansing is something we do regularly and is a form of maintenance, a daily routine. Detoxification is usually done bi- annually and should not be overdone.

Maintenance will improve your health over a long period of time. One form of maintenance is a regular routine of colon hydrotherapy.

Diet plays an important role also.  Juicing provides a powerhouse of nutrients to the blood and is extremely nutrient dense.

Be sure to detox with someone who has experience helping people in this area.  Doing it right makes all the difference between success and ho-hum results.  Once we start a successful detoxification protocol, a series of colonics is recommended to remove all the toxins from the body’s dumping ground, the colon.

Stress also plays a vital role in how healthy we are and will be in the future.  There are many things beyond our control in life, so taking control of what we can is empowering and by changing what we can create a strong and healthy foundation.

The Benefits of detoxing

  1. Removes accumulation of toxins from the body. Long-term exposure to toxins (plastics, environmental pollutants, cancer-causing chemicals, preservatives, pesticides, heavy metals, and industrial waste) impairs the metabolism, our mood and behavior, immune system, and can lead to disease. Toxins are stored in tissues and cells throughout the body, including the brain, often for years –
  1. Prevent chronic disease. Environmental toxins are responsible for many cancers, neurological diseases, heart disease, strokes, and more. Our body’s built-in detox system can manage these to a point and being bombarded with the onslaught of toxins today our bodies are experiencing overload and begin to break down. Detoxing supports the body’s natural ability to maintain balance.
  1. Enhance immune system function. A compromised immune system makes us vulnerable to colds and flus, along with allergies, affecting our quality of life and productivity. Regular detoxing helps strengthen immune system functioning and fights off infection.
  1. Lose weight. Toxins affect the body’s natural ability to burn fat, leading to weight gain. Diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure are directly linked to weight issues. Clients have reported experiencing weight loss once the body can rid itself of toxic waste stored in fat cells, thereby increasing metabolism.
  1. Slow premature aging. Free radicals and heavy metals are partially responsible for aging. Detoxing helps to increase nutrient absorption, including antioxidants and vitamins that help fight oxidative stress.
  1. Improve quality of life. Simply put, our bodies do not function very well when they’re loaded with toxins. We may have joint pain, headaches, digestive disorders, sleep problems, and lack of energy. Depression may be eased and memory may be improved as a result of detoxification!
  1. Increase energy. You will have more mental, physical, and emotional energy after detoxing. People tend to sleep better.
  1. Mental and emotional clarity. When the body’s systems are aligned, a shift also occurs with our mental and emotional states. We can deal with more when we’re clear and grounded. We can make better decisions, analyze accurately, and see things differently.
  1. Restore balance to our body’s systems.

Our digestive, nervous, and hormonal systems were designed to work together to achieve optimum health. This is what our bodies are designed to do!  When our body is overloaded with toxins, including unhealthy foods, these systems begin functioning poorly and we get sick. Detoxing brings balance back and helps our systems function properly again.

Our bodies become virtual dumping grounds for hundred of thousands of toxic compounds that invade our air, water and soil where our food grows. Our level of toxic exposure far outstrips our body’s natural ability to eliminate these toxins.  Therefore, it is essential to help the body with its removal of harmful waste products.

The toxins our body cannot metabolize are stored in our fat cells throughout our body where they continue to accumulate. As these toxins build up, they cause nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, damage brain chemistry and can lead to cancer and other chronic illness.  Often toxin accumulation is mis-diagnosed as fibromyalgia, lupus, chronic fatigue and more.

Detoxing reduces the toxic body burden and promotes elimination of toxic chemicals, heavy metals (such as aluminum, arsenic, barium,  ismuth, cadmium, lead, mercury, nickel, phhalates [which are plasticizers found in plastic water bottles], thallium, tin, uranium, radiation) nonmetallic toxins, volatile hydrocarbons, solvent residues, PCB’s, pesticides, herbicide residues, synthetic chemicals, and plasticizers (known to be the number one most deadly toxins to store in our bodies in the 21st century).

Detoxing can help to reverse some health disorders and re-establish good health.

Studies now confirm that diet and environmental chemicals cause 95% of cancers.

With the elimination of these toxins from the body, the organs can then do their job unhindered.  To avoid recirculation of toxins it is important to work with an experienced detoxification practitioner.  Specific targeted supplements may be recommended to support the various phases of detoxification.

Clients have reported a reduction in stress and pain and improved mobility in joints and extremities, along with an overall sense of well-being.
