The colon is a 4-layer muscle and colon  hydrotherapy helps to stimulate and exercise  this muscle. Like any muscle, if it is not  toned and working efficiently, it will become  sluggish and not work at an optimum level.

If you are not eliminating about 18 inches at least once per day, then your colon is not working efficiently and you may be constipated.
